When ordering a seat you will need to include some important information that will allow us to customize the seat to fit your model of kayak:

1. Please indicate which model of kayak you have. (Note: there is a very good chance that we have already built a seat for your model of kayak, in which case you will not need to send us the template as outlined in  #4, but will still need the two measurements indicated in #2 & #3 below)
2. We need to know the distance from the floor of your kayak to the underside of the deck at the rear of the cockpit opening.
3. We need to know the distance from your rear bulkhead to the cockpit opening.
4. You must  also send us a cross-sectional template of the hull/deck at the approximate center of the seat location (approximately 10" in front of your back when seated in the kayak).  Do this by tracing the shape on a piece of heavy paper or poster board. If you have a station or form near the center of the seat location you may use it as a template; however, if it is not an exact match you should adjust it's size accordingly. If the deck has a recess for the coaming, you  will need to indicate this on the cross-sectional drawing. (see note on #1 above)

Remember - the fit of your custom seat will be dependent upon the accuracy of the information that you send to us.
